News: Motorola Xoom in the UK will soon get an update to Android 3.2

The Motorola Xoom is not running the Android 3.2 in all part of the country. The Android 3.2 was first received withe the Wi-Fi only tablets that were sold in the United States, followed by the Xooms sold by Verizon. UK were the unlucky ones, as the Motorola Xooms sold there are still currently running on Android 3.1. That may all change soon as Android 3.2 will hit that area sometime next month.

This update is OTA and will more than likely hit the Xooms that are Wi-Fi only and the unlocked 3G first. As with any OTA updates, the update will not hit everyone at the same time but may take a couple of weeks for the final update to roll out.

Once this update is installed, UK customers should see better use of the apps with the new zoom functionality.
