View and Reset the Call Log:
- Tap the Phone icon on the home screen
- Press Menu > Call history
- Scroll through the entries and tap & hold the one you want to view more details about
- To reset the call log, press Menu again and tap Clear call log
Add a Contact:
- Tap Apps on the home screen
- Open Contacts
- Tap the Add contact button in the lower-right corner of the screen
- Enter the contacts name and phone number in the appropriate fields
- After adding the desired contact info, tap Done
Import / Export Contacts:
- Launch the Contacts app
- Press Menu
- Tap Import / Export
- Select to import from SIM card, Import from storage, or Export to storage
- When exporting, tap OK to confirm
- When importing, select the account you want to import the contacts to
- Select the contacts you want to import and follow the remaining on-screen prompts to complete the process
Create a Speed Dial Widget:
- Press and hold an empty area on your home screen
- Tap Widgets
- Scroll to, and tap & hold the Direct Dial widget
- Drag the widget on the home screen and release it
- When prompted with the Contacts list or the People app, select the contact you want to associate with the Direct Dial widget
NOTE: You can create multiple Direct Dial widgets, and you can organize them in folders. To do so, simply drag and drop a Direct Dial widget on top of another one
Delete Contacts:
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch Contacts
- Select the contact you want to remove
- Tap Edit contact > Menu
- Tap Delete and press OK to confirm
Create a Caller Group:
- Launch Contacts
- Tap the Add a contact icon in the lower-right corner
- Select an account if necessary
- Under Groups, tap Group name
- Tap Create a new Group
- Enter a name for the group and tap OK
- Enter the contacts name and any additional information you want
- Tap the Back arrow to save the group
Add Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:
- Open Contacts
- Select the contact that you want to add to the group
- Tap Edit (pencil icon)
- Under Groups, tap Group name
- Select an existing group and tap Back to save the changes
