  2. Launch iTunes and click the iPhone to view the device’s summary page
  3. Click the “Info” tab and mark the “Sync Contacts With” check box

  6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  7. On the Moto X Play, register the same Google account and allow it to sync contacts with your phone

Via iCloud:

NOTE: In case you have used the iCloud backup service on your iPhone, your contacts should be backed up on your iCloud account. If so you can access your iCloud account on a computer connected to the Internet, and export your contacts in the form of a VCF file

  5. After the file is downloaded on the computer, import it to “Google Contacts” or instead:
  6. Connect the Moto X Play to your computer through USB, copy > paste the VCF file on the phone storage, and use the “Contacts” app and “Import” function to add the VCF file’s contents to your phonebook

Via My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: As you may have noticed the two methods above require access to a computer connected to the Internet, however you can also transfer your contacts without one, using third party applications. 3. Tap “Email” to compose a new email containing the VCF file as an attachment
  4. Send the email to your own address
  5. Switch to the Moto X Play and open the email
  6. Download the attached vCard file and import its contents using the “Contacts” application

Via Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is an Android and iOS app which uses a P2P connection to transfer contacts and other file types without needing a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. From the Google Play Store, install the app on the Moto X Play
  3. Open the application on both smartphones
