Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the Moto G4 Plus to your computer via USB
- When prompted, enable Media device (MTP) / File Transfer (MTP), otherwise enable the option from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on your computer and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones / Notifications / Alarms folders in the Media directory
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
Change the Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Go to Settings
- Under Device, tap Sound & notification
- Tap Phone ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
- Optionally, you can turn Also vibrate for calls On or Off
Change the Notification Sound:
- Launch Settings
- Under Device, tap Sound & notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone
- Tap the notification sound you want to set
- Press OK to confirm
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts located on the devices internal storage or SIM card.
- Open Contacts
- Select the contact you want to set a ringtone to
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Select Set ringtone
- Tap the desired ringtone and tap OK to confirm
