    Hi All

    Can anyone help?

Just needed a cheap little phone, and bought a Nokia 1600 from a friend who told me it had been on T-Mobile(UK)

Tried many unlock codes, much more than 5, no result. Now just says 'Not Allowed'

Turns out it wasn't on T-Mobile, it was on Vodafone!!!

Can I do anything with this??

    Thanks

    Re: Nokia 1600 Unlock Problems

    Hey there,

If a Nokia phone is Dead locked it will say "Not Allowed" after entering the unlock code.

Dead locks are triggered when a user has entered in too many invalid unlock codes. Once a dead lock is triggered, it can not be undone.

    Sorry hope this helps.
    Thanks
