OK, seeings how I haven't found any threads started on this phone, I'll start one.

I'm not going to go into all the particulars, so if someone wants to fill in the holes, be my guest.

ICS (Ice Cream Sandwhich) is the bomb. Its what Android should have been a long time ago. Enough said.

Bad side to ICS, its is difficult to navigate. There is going to be a learning curve with it no matter how savvy you are with the Android operating system. Some if it is nice..some, but there is a lot your going to go, huh, where did this go or that. Well, it's there for the most part, your just going to have to fiddle with things for awhile till you find it. some stuff is buried a few menu's in.

The screen on this is FANTASTIC! Watching movies is actually quite nice. Streaming from Netflix for example was flawless on 4G with very little lag and that was only a couple times during the entire movie.

Outside the screen was visible even in direct sunlight.

I haven't quite figured out why they curved the screen. It doesn't improve the way it fits my face any more than my new Moto Razr does, but enough on that.

Battery life is OK. It's not great, but its livable. I seen here on the forum where they are offering the extended battery for the Nexus already, and for $25. I may consider getting that.

    Now for my complaints:

The reception on this phone is TERRIBLE! I can't even begin to tell you how bad it is. This issue is so bad, that Verizon has already said they are preparing a fix for it. I don't know if I can wait it out though, as I need my phone for service work. I got the phone as soon as it arrived at my local Verizon store Friday, and I am missing on average about 15 phone calls a day because of reception.

Volume is just as bad. If your in any kind of environment with noise, you are not going to hear this phone ring. Same goes for the vibrate function. It just plain sucks. I have downloaded a program to make my own vibrate patterns so I can at least feel when I get a call or text message.

ICS doesn't like some of the programs I download from the Market. I will lose icons off the screen everyday and have to reinstall them. Its getting to be a pain in the butt.

The auto rotate works sometimes, and then other times just doesn't work at all. When it does, it is very slow on flipping the screen.

The phone itself feels.....well....the word that keeps coming to mind is cheap. The battery cover is a very flimsy plastic. Once installed, it still feels well, cheap. I'm afraid that one accidental drop and I'm going to be picking up pieces.

Honestly, if it wasn't for ICS, I think this phone wouldn't be worth getting. For something with the latest and best Android system on it, you would have thought they would have put some time into the phone itself.

I am going to put this phone off to the side for the time being and go back to the new Razr. That at least has the feel and quality I expect from a next generation phone. The reception on this phone is probably the best I have ever had. Just hope they can get the microphone issue worked out on it. In the not so distant future, I believe this phone will be getting ICS, and then it's going to be a phone to take a very serious look at.

    Re: SAMSUNG Galaxy Nexus

Well, now with the official date released on the signal issue fix, I will have added this phone to the bone pile of phones of wishful past. The new Razr will have taken it's place. Kind of mad to think I used two updates to get these phones and I don't really like either one of them.
