When you pull out the S Pen from its slot, the Galaxy Note II will detect it and perform the following functions:
it will turn on the screen, in case it was turned off
if you pull out the S Pen while youre on a phone call, your smartphone will launch the S Note
if youre on the Home screen, it will open the S Pen page
Things you should take into consideration regarding the S Pen:
take good care of the tip of the S Pen as its not replaceable. If it gets dull, youll have to purchase a new S Pen.
in case your S Pen is not working the way it should, its recommended that you take it to a Service Center, preferably a Samsung Service center.
in order to have the best results from the S Pen, you should keep it mostly perpendicular to the touch screen and try to avoid using it at sharp angles.
