Clear the Phone’s Cache Partition:

NOTE: If your phone crashes, freezes, or runs out of storage inexplicably and you wish to factory reset it, you can try solving these problems by wiping the phone’s cache partition instead. 1. Turn off the phone
  2. Press and hold “Power”, “Volume Up”, and “Home” at the same time
  3. At the “Samsung” logo, release “Power”
  4. When the “Android” logo appears, release the other two buttons too
  5. In the Recovery menu, press “Volume down” repeatedly to navigate to and highlight “wipe cache partition”
  6. Press “Power” to confirm the selection
  7. After the cache is wiped, “Reboot system now” should be highlighted
  8. Press “Power” one last time to confirm and restart your phone
