Hello,
So, I'm trying to set a custom ringtone for my Samsung J7 but something about the permissions is not letting me.
I go to settings, sounds and vibrations, then ringtone, add from device storage. An error message pops up saying "Unable to open Music. Tap SETTINGS, go to App info > Permissions, then allow the following permissions and try again: Storage.
So I do that, I click Settings, it takes me to Sound picker application info, I click permissions, it shows me that storage is off. I try and click it on and another message pops up, " Screen overlay detected: To change this permission setting, you first have to turn off the screen overlay from Settings > Apps.
This is where I get stuck. How do I turn off Screen overlay?
Thank you in advance for your assistance!
