I cant get midi ringtones onto my phone!... the defaults are all midi files, so i figured ay!, no problem right? WRONG! I have a samsung freeform or the SCH-R351. It has a folder on the microSD that when i put it into the puter, says my-ringtones or something like that. I drag and drop my midi files into the folder, they r there, then i take it out and put it into my phone and I get nothing! Then i put it back into the computer and it says they r still in there! its crazy and its twisting my mind around.. Any suggestions?

Re: Help please!!
try connecting the phone via sync cable and see if it will allow you to use the phone as a storage device (a message should appear on your cell if you can). this may work, though i am not entirely familiar with your device

if that doesnt work, converting the files to mp3 format would be your best bet (super is a great freeware transcoder that is easy to use)

Re: Samsung Freeform midi ringtones
I have the same phone with data cable. I made it work with BitPim, but I couldn't make any game work. I downloaded some jar files, copied them, but I'm still missing something. Besides, the ringtones ar "gc" extension (???). I have some mp3, but the have to be converted. Could anybody do anything with this phone????
