News: Android 2.2. Froyo update becomes available to Samsung Intercept

Many people are waiting for their handsets to get the Android 2.2. Froyo update and eventually, some will see the update in the upcoming future on select devices. Galaxy S users are still waiting for the update in the US, but Sprint has rolled out the Android 2.2 Froyo on their Samsung Intercept phone.

With this Android 2.2 Froyo update for the Sprint's Samsung Intercept comes the DL05 update as well that will improve Sprint's Navigation along with fixes to the dropped calls and inadvertent force closures. Google will be rolling out the update in batches, so some may have to wait a little longer than others.
