    This is driving me mad!

I have a SGH-C300 phone and am trying to connect it up with PC Studio so that I can manage the Address Book. So far, it has been pure frustration and wonder if someone can tell me if this should be possible or am I just wasting my time?

The PC is running W7 and this is what I've tried.....

    • USB cable - W7 does not recognise the C300 as a device
    • Serial cable (connected via Serial/USB converter) - neither PC Studio 7 or 3 recognised connection
    • Installed XP Mode and run both versions of PC Studio - no difference!

If anyone has any advice or suggestions, I would be most grateful - thanks!

Are you sure you're using the right cable?

Have you tried any of the drivers from here: SGH-C300 -

    (I realize it's dated)

    Update

Good news! I've managed to get it to work with the serial cable. I made my PC dual-boot and installed a full version of XP, plus the PIMS software your link pointed me to on the Samsung site.

    Very happy now - thanks!
