Why is it that CDMA has a lower resale value then GSM. This is in all phones I have seen... Because of this I am happy because I own i747 But an AT&T SIII is worth more then Sprint and Verizon.... Please explain?

this is because the GSM versions of the GS3 are able to be unlocked and used on other networks more easily. You can still use a Verizon GS3 on other networks, they just have to be rooted to use MMS and data (to change the APN settings). Most people don't realize this though.

I agree with tavenger5. But addition to that, I also think there are more GSM users than CDMA. I might be wrong though.

GSM phones being unlocked definitely matters.

I think the fact that GSM is more of a globally used network also factors into the price since there is a larger global demand for GSM phones.

CDMA, i believe, is more of an American based network. Please someone correct me if i am wrong.
