I want to get in on my parent's family plan. I heard that they can add a line for $9.99 a month. Now, I was wondering how this works. Since they already renewed their contract last November, is it still possible for them to add a line? Would they have to renew thier contract? How would they go about adding me? Also, how much would the phones cost if it is possible to add a line? Specifically the Moto Zine or the Samsung Behold.

Yes, you can add onto your parent's family plan (assuming they have less than 5 lines - that's the max # of lines per a family plan). You can check out the phone equipment pricing on TMobile's web site. My understanding is that each line contract is separate.

You can add a line at any time but youe parents contracts will expire before yours because they will activate yours for the 1 or 2 years whichever you choose and there are a lot of good free phones with activation.

You can have them setup another line on T-Mobile's website.
