I have a problem with T-Mobile. I have been a TMO customer since 2005. Last month, I upgraded my account to a Value Plan which TMO created a new account and added a second line. Basically, I have a data plan (text, email,web), second line, and extended my contract with them for another two years.

I didn't have TMO phones on my account because I was using iPhone's with my data plan. Now, I want to add an HTC Radar phone to my account and I was told I would have to pay full price for the phone rather than paying $99 dollars or the discounted price.

I was told that I would have to upgrade my Value plan to another plan just to get the a discount on the phone OR I could pay installments on the phone which is added to my bill until the phone is paid off.

Does this make sense to anyone? TMO can do this to a customer.
