Thanks for that, but it didn't work.. Tryed Codes 7 and 5, both came up with
"Code Error"

Actually the previous poster answered your post quite reasonably, you
should have specified that you wanted a free service.

Now that has been established we need to establish whether you have
been with Virgin for a while. If so Virgin are quite amenable to
unlocking. I was going to Australia for a month a while back and asked
them to unlock my phone and they supplied the code no problems and at
no cost.

If you have no luck with Virgin the cheapest unlocking service I have
seen is £4.50 you may also need a cable but not too sure about that,
try a search.

Perhaps now you require the services of a "money grabbing sod". I hope
you used up all your attempts at code entry.

I posted on this group back in January:

To unlock a Virgin Nokia 1100, use the calculator at
http://www.trycktill.com/eng/unlock_swe.asp but
don't select the Network as Virgin or accept the default Boxserial
value.

The values it needs are:

Brand: Nokia
Model: 1100
Country: United Kingdom
Network: Manual | Enter manual
IMEI: [result of *#06# with SIM removed]
Network: 23400001
Boxserial: 32811 Manual | Enter manual

and then use code number 7.

I knows yours is an 1101 but it may be worth a try.
