    I've got as far as my phone can see my home WLAN but how the devil do
    you get it to use the internet with it.

    If you can't get WiFi to work on your e61 then just throw it in the
    bin as it's far too complicated for you. Have you thought of looking
    at the manual? Nobody else who has set up WiFi on it needed to, mind.

    Actually I keep getting authentication error. However when I use
    symtorrent and easy wlan it connects perfectly.

    all sorted I changed the wlan security settings to WEP and key in use
    to #1 then Authentication type open when I realised that the wep key
    was hexadecimal and not ascii I began to see the light hope this helps
    someone out there.
