Not to mention the security features and most reliable unit (fewest crashes), my BB has never crashed, locked up or froze!

it's more than than...it's for the business oriented "all in one" user...the main features the bb user is looking for is the combination of phone, calendar (agenda), web access, and email...again, all in one device....now, the email is key here...it's 'push'...automatically 'forwarded' to your device once a new item comes in...you don't have to do a 'send' or 'retrieve'....
this device has no photo or video cam, no voice recorder, no mp3 player....it's not a 'bells and whistles' gadget...it's a practical business 'tool'...

As I am reading this, my wife is nodding her head in agreement...Very funny but very true... As far as the Blackberry...here are some features..and yes, it is geared for business..not for play...(although from a business standpoint, it is the ultimate toy)

BlackBerry 7105t™-- a real phone that really e-mails. This premium phone is full of the features you want, like Bluetooth® technology, speakerphone, and a bright color screen for vivid Web browsing and attachment viewing. Plus the 7105t is a quad-band international phone--so you can call and e-mail from around the world.

The BlackBerry 7105t is built for messaging, with the power and ease of BlackBerry e-mail. Set-up is super simple, with just one step needed for most e-mail providers. Bring up to 10 personal and work e-mail accounts together with virtually real-time delivery to the palm of your hand. And it's easy to reply because typing is speedy on the intuitive QWERTY keyboard. Plus you can use Yahoo!® Messenger, AOL® Instant Messenger™, and MSN® Messenger to stay in touch with friends and colleagues when you're on the go.

All T-Mobile phones support VoiceMail, caller ID, conference calling, call forwarding, call waiting, call hold, built-in paging, and access to 411 And More...

    In a quick view

    Unlimited Email
    Unlimited Web Browsing
    Bluetooth enabled
    Built-in Speakerphone
Access to AIM, Yahoo Messenger, ICQ
Largest Data Coverage in the nation
Roaming in over 180 countries worldwide

    Love these phones

    Plexus

I don't even have the BB plan and I can't go without mine. The 7520 with the GPS was a big selling point, as well as the wide screen, keyboard, etc...it's great as a pda/pim device.

I had a treo 650 (until i lost it last week) it was a good phone when it worked. But it crashed so many times. It was very frustrating. You can do all the stuff on a BB you can on a treo with less headache. I'm going back to a Crackberry. Leave the headache to some other Treo user.....

it should do everthing better than a treo with the exception of if your treo had a camera as, do date, no blackberries have cameras.
