the 7520 does not use simcards (gsm technology)... different thing altogether... is that a telus phone by the way?

the 7520 does use a sim card and its Nextel. You can use a sim card from any nextel phone to get the service up and running but I recommend getting the blackberry sim directly from Nextel.
