Blackberry 8100 (Pearl)

I've seen it for T-Mobile, but I want to know if anyone here knows the release date for Cingular. I've been hearing different rumors ranging from Nov. 6, Nov. 16 all the way to next year. Any info?

they originallly expected to have it availible by now, but it hasnt happened.... they are prolly just behind schedule and are pushing to have it out asap.... we'll see.....

I dont beleive everything I read but in the T-Mobile store it does specifically say the Blackberry Pearl is a T-Mobile exclusive.

Yes, it might say that on the sign, but most people have known that the Pearl has been planned to release on Cingular since day one. TMobile just got the exclusive to launch it first. Most sources are saying it will be out on Cingular this month(if not, then definitely before Christmas).

Expect it by the end of this month.

I was hoping by Nov. 5th like I had heard earlier.

But it sounds like it's going to be more towards the end of the month, maybe the 17th?


Still praying for the 5th although I think we would have more info by now if that were the case.

I just ordered mine the other day from T-mobile. The only reason I ordered it instead of going into the store is they just add the cost to my bill.
