A lot of people would love to read books in their Blackberry. Here's a service which allows you a simple way of doing it regardless what Blackberry you are using. DailyLit is a website which will email you books of your choosing into you Blackberry's email. It working by breaking to books into segments so you can read them daily or depending on the frequency you want to read.

Can post the link so just search "Daily Lit" in Google, Service works regardless of what model you use.

You may want to check out this ebook reader, too. It's oriented on cell phones, but works with Blackberries as well (even better -- the screen is much bigger )

Man wouldn't that totally ruin your eyes reading a whole book on that tiny screen?

The mobipocket reader is another good option. It's very well established and there are over a hundred thousand books available in this format.

I hear what you're saying about the small size of the screens, but isn't that more than compensated for by the convenience of being able to read an ebook on a device that is always at hand? Sometimes you can't always predict when you're next held up in a waiting room, for example.

Wouldn't it also be possible to change the text size on the Blackberry so that your eyes would be straining less when reading? That could actually be a nice advantage to reading electronically, no?

The Mobireader software allows you to change font size, text color and background color, so you're right, that is a nice advantage. (I've not tried the Blackberry version of the software, but my PDA version does this and I believe most or all of the mobireader versions have this feature.)

That would totally kill one's eyes.

Much better than just using PDF which doesn't work for S on my BB.

Sorry, I didn't understand. Are you saying that the pdf or the Mobipocket reader would kill one's eyes?
