Java streaming with blackberry

Can I use a Blackberry as a modem with my laptop and get websites that stream charts using java?
Will an 8700 do it?

you need to set up the enterprise service with BES , blackberry enterprise service, to do that you need to contact your service provider.
You need to give the pin number from your blackberry status option in the menu.

i prefer using 8700 instead pearl,, even 8800 much better.
