It seems the Blackberry network failed around 8PM EST on 4/17 (today) and isn't up yet at 11PM?! 3 hours of Blackberry Blackout!? and no solid answer in sight?!
I've just heard it on the news... anyone have any better info?!

Blackberry - massive system failure
last night i heard that there was a massive system failure affecting all blackberry users in the Western Hemisphere.
that RIM said its infrastructure failed and e-mails are not being pushed to portable Blackberry devices. they said they were trying to reset the system and they were worried that the backlog of all the data, will rush through when the system comes back online could cause a bigger problem for them.
has anyone been effect by this? or is this old news?
