I've had my pearl since june and it's had no problems. But recently its started deleting my entire txt library every couple days (its set to save forever and I have a 2g chip with it) but now its started deleted ALL messages as soon I change out of the menu that shows the messages ( I can't even read txts without it deleting everything else). I think that it's filled up the onboard memory( except that I don't have any messages!!)
Please, please, please help me!!

Re: Desperately need pearl help!!!!
That has happened to my Blackberry Curve but happened to my emails. My blackberry contains a lot of emails but only the older emails get deleted when my berry overflows. Can you provide more details on your situation so that we can properly help.

Re: Desperately need pearl help!!!!
Well, basically my phone gets a lot of texts and starts slowing down. Then the deletions happen. At some point some memory frees up and the phone speeds up. It's better at the moment, but it recurs

Re: Desperately need pearl help!!!!
That happens when the phone is running low on memory and needs more memory so it will delete text and e-mail messages to get enough memory. Delete some files and this won't happen.

Re: Desperately need pearl help!!!!
you need to delete crap on it when the memory gets low back it up and wipe the handheld options advanced options security press menu key wipe handheld deletes all data from phone including ring tones etc gamesthat you have downloaded. The pearl and curve auto delete by importance so make sure you back up your device often and keep the memory maintained. Download the bb desktop manager from the bb website or att.com/bbdownloads And take off the apllications for language that you don't need there are 30 preloaded which take up 9kb of space each...
