Hi All, I am looking to upgrade to a smartphone. However, I cannot decide between the Blackberry Curve and the HTC s730. Please advise, without being bias, which is the better smartphone and why. Many thanks in advance.

You may want to check out
www.phonescoop.com they will let you compare the features of both devices side by side.
It really all depends on what you are looking to get out of the device. BlackBerries in my opinion are more reliable, have better reception, better battery life and better phone quality. BlackBerries also have push tech that will allow you to recieve your emails without having to tell the device to retrieve them. The Curve also has GPS where the s730 does not.
The s730 however has
3G, so it will have faster download and internet browsing speeds. Also being a windows device you will have pocket word, excel and power point. The s730 is a little heaver and bulkier than the Curve, but the s730 has Wi-Fi where the Curve does not.
So again it comes down to what your needs are. If you want faster internet speeds, pocket office and a windows operating system then you may want to go with the s730.
If you want something smaller and plan to use E-mail a lot on the device and do not really need pocket office or fast internet speeds then the Curve may be the way to go.
Honestly I would wait for the BlackBerry Bold to come out. It will have everything. It is going to be light, have the BlackBerry push tech, it will have Wi-Fi,
3G and Pocket Office. They have not given an official release date for the Bold but the rumor is sometime in July for AT&T.
Hope this Helps
