Blackberry pearl Email help

Okay. I'd like to have my email account setup on my pearl, and be able to receive emails/access my account. However, I do not want the light to flash nor the little envelope to show up. Any way to turn these off?

Its not that hard, simply go to Messages>Menu>Options>General Options>Display New Message Indicator> and then change it to No

That should take care of both indicators, but if it does not stop the blinking then you can also try going to Menu>Options>Screen/Keyboard>LED Coverage Indicator> and then selecting it to off.
