Have you reported the phone as stolen to your wireless carrier?

Yes but it has all of my contacts ( I also work as a personal concierge) and I do not want to lose them. I did not backup any of it. I do not want to turn off my my service.

I understand. However, by not reporting the phone as stolen, the person who has it can run up your wireless bill, leaving you responsible for the balance.

What wireless carrier is the phone registered to? Perhaps you could purchace a prepaid phone kit, and use that temporarily, until your phone is either found or replaced.

Just remember ... every blackberry has its own unique PIN, you can usually track them that way ... even if they change out the sim card.
