Looks like Japan is getting a special Blackberry Bold. The Blackberry Bold went on sale this past weekend in Japan and the Quad-band 3G device contains the 2100, 1900, 850 MHz bands of the UMTS/HSDPA. The 800MHz UMTS/HSDPA band is a part of DoCoMo’s FOMA Plus Area network which is used in low frequency areas such as rural areas and is able to navigate to long distances and mountainous lands.
