unlocking BlackBerry Storm on Verizon

I want to unlock my Storm to use overseas with another SIM card. Since Verizon operates in the US on CDMA and doesn't use the SIM card will unlocking it prevent me from continuing with my usual Verizon service while I am in the US?

No, the Storm is a global phone and as such, will work on whatever network you have a contract with.

So, if you are using Verizon here in the US, the phone will work, and when you go over seas, the SIM's card will work instantly as long as once again, you have a contract with them.

Can anyone help me with an unlock code for my BlackBerry Storm? IMEI is 352109.03278873.2 and its with Verizon.
