can i data block this phone

k if i buy a blackberry from ebay or something then activate it, can i call sprint or go online and cancel my data plan that goes with the phone so i wont get charged an extra like 30 bucks a month?

Yes you can block data. The phone will say "data connection refused" also you wont be able to access the web browser or send or recieve email. 30 bucks is alot of money so thats what I did.
