I switched from RIM to Apple, and thinking to switch to Android now, but I have always had a weakness for the good old Blackberry. Apparently RIM is not looking for ways to get Android apps working on their PlayBook, which would be awesome! Could this be a big boost for the PlayBook sales?

Yep, this would definitely be an amazing addition to the tablet. As far as I’ve seen, the PlayBook already has pretty impressive specs for a tablet. Only thing lacking was apps… I think their strategist should have a good talk with Nokia XD

I don’t think RIM could do anything to top any Android device. I’d choose the Galaxy above the Playbook at any time.

could be, but aren’t they just talking about a limited amount of apps that could be used on the playbook? we might just get hugely disappointed.
