Downloading and Buying Apps, Games, Music, etc

1. Open the BlackBerry World storefront and tap the item that you wish to purchase.
2. Then tap the Price button located in the upper-right corner of the screen.
3. If you want to change the payment method before you make the purchase, tap Bill Through and select the desired payment method.
4. Then tap Purchase.
5. If you’d like to share a video, game or app, tap the Share icon.

Buying a Subscription to a Game or App

Some games or apps or the features of a certain game or app may require a monthly subscription free, which will renew automatically until you cancel it. But the BlackBerry World storefront will send you an email reminder before and after the subscription is renewed.
1. To buy a subscription, go to the Details screen of an app, game or item and tap the Price icon displayed on the game, app or item.

Cancelling a Subscription

1. From the BlackBerry World storefront home screen, tap the Apps icon.
2. Then tap My World -> tap My Apps & Games.
3. If necessary, tap the Apps & Games drop-down list located at the top of the screen.
4. Then tap Subscriptions -> tap the desired app, game or item and select Unsubscribe.
5. As simple as that!

Renting a Video

You can rent some of the videos that are available in the BlackBerry World storefront. After you’ve downloaded a rented video, you have 30 only to start watching the video before it expires, but after you started watching it, you have 24 to 48 hours to finish watching it (depending on the video) before the video expires. The rented video is only available on the BlackBerry device where it was initially downloaded.

1. Open BlackBerry World and go to the video that you’d like to rent.
2. Then simply go to the Details screen and tap Rent to rent the video.

Changing the Payment Options

1. Open the BlackBerry World storefront and swipe down from the top of the screen.
2. Then tap Settings -> select Payment Options -> enter your BlackBerry ID and password.
3. Then select the desired payment option and follow the on-screen instructions.
4. In case you’d also like to edit the payment information, tap the Edit icon.

Hiding Items Intended for Adult, Mature or Teen Audiences

The games, apps and videos found in the BlackBerry World storefront have a certain rating based on the audience for which they’re intended. For example, music is rated based on how explicit its content is. So you can filter the games, apps, music as well as videos that you see in BlackBerry World.

1. Open BlackBerry World and swipe down from the top of the screen.
2. Then tap Settings -> tap Content Controls.
3. Then you can select one of the following options:
• enter the parental control password.
• create a parental control password.
4. When ready, select the type of content that you want to see on BlackBerry World.
