Chat with your Google Talk Friends

1. Open your Google Talk app.
2. Then tap the friend you’d like to chat with.
3. Type in the desired message or select just an emoticon if you want and tap Send.

Tip: If you want to see all of your opened chats, tap the Messaging icon.

Sharing your chat with other people

Do you want to share a fun conversation with your friends? You can do that by using email, BBM and more.

1. In the desired chat, tap the Menu icon and select Share.
2. Then select the desired destination.

Changing the Google Talk status or profile

1. Open the Google Talk app.
2. Tap the picture or display name located at the top of the screen.
3. Then you can either select a status or tap Custom message and type in a different status.
4. To change the display picture, tap the picture and select Change.

Adding a Google Talk friend

1. Open your Google Talk app and tap the Menu icon.
2. Then tap the Add Contact icon.
3. Type in the email address of your friend and select Send.

Deleting a friend

1. Open your Google Talk app
2. Tap and hold the friend you want to delete.
3. Then tap the Trashcan icon.

Signing out of Google Talk

If you no longer want to receive messages and notifications from Google Talk to your BlackBerry Z10, you can sign out of your BlackBerry device.

1. Open Google Talk.
2. Then swipe down from the top of the screen.
3. Tap the Sign out icon.

Remove friends from the blocked list

If you remove a contact from the blocked list, that contact will be able to send you messages again.

1. Open your Google Talk app and go to the Blocked group.
2. Then tap and hold the contact that you want to unblock.
3. Then tap the Checked icon.

Viewing pending invitations

In case you added a contact in your friends list but you can’t see it, the person’s smartphone or device may not be turned on or that person might not have responded to your invitation yet or just ignored it. To see your pending invitations you need to open your Google Talk app and tap the Contacts icon.
