Turn On Call Forwarding:
- Launch “Phone”
- Tap “Menu”
- Go to “Settings” > “Call settings”
- Tap “Call forwarding”
- Tap “Voice” and select “Always forward”
- Enter the phone number you want to forward calls to and tap “Enable”
Turn ON Conditional Call Forwarding:
- Open “Phone”
- Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
- Tap “Call settings” > “Call forwarding”
- Tap “Voice” and select to forward incoming calls “When busy”, “When unreachable” or “When unanswered”
- Edit or enter the phone number you want to forward calls to
- Tap “Update”
Disable Call Forwarding:
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch “Phone” and tap “Menu”
- Tap “Settings” > “Call settings”
- Tap “Call forwarding” > “Voice”
- Choose the forwarding option you want to disable
Block Incoming and Outgoing Calls:
- Open “Phone” and tap “Menu”
- Go to “Settings”
- Tap “Call settings” > “Call blocking”
- Select the desired blocking option
NOTE: If this is the first time accessing call blocking, you will be asked to create a password to protect your settings. Optionally you can change an existing password by tapping “change call blocking password”
Block / Unblock Calls from a Contact:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Launch “Contacts”
- Select the desired contact and tap “Edit”
- Tap “Menu” and enable “All calls to voicemail”
NOTE: To unblock a contact, follow the steps above and disable “All calls to voicemail”
Block Messages via Google Messenger:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Open Google “Messenger”
- Select the message thread exchanged with the phone number / contact you want to block
- Tap “Menu” > “People & Options”
- Tap “Block [phone number]”
- Press “OK”
NOTE: The conversation thread and future messages from the blocked contact will be archived, and you will no longer receive notifications for these messages.
Unblock Messages via Google Messenger:
- Open Google “Messenger”
- Tap “Menu”
- Go to “Archived”
- Select the conversation thread exchanged with the phone number / contact you want to unblock
- Tap “Menu”
- Go to “Unarchive” > “Menu”
- Tap “People & options” > “Unblock [phone number]”
Access and Clear the Call Log:
- Launch “Phone”
- Go to “Recents”
- Tap “View full call history” and select a call log entry to view more details
- To reset the call log, tap “Menu” in the “Recents” screen
- Then, tap “Clear call log / history”
Change Caller ID Settings:
- Open “Phone”
- Tap “Menu”
- Access “Settings”
- Tap “Call settings” > “Additional settings”
- Select “Caller ID”
- Choose between “Network default”, “Hide number” or “Show number”
Enable Fixed Dialing:
NOTE: You can limit the phone numbers you can call or send messages to by enabling Fixed Dialing.
- Open “Phone”
- Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
- Go to “Call settings”
- Tap “Fixed dialing numbers” and turn “Enable FDN” ON
- Enter your SIM security code if necessary and tap “OK”
- Go to “FDN list” and tap “Menu” > “Add contact”
- Enter the phone number / name of the contact to add to Fixed Dialing
- Tap “Save”
