i edited the monotone i had so the main instrument (brass/bass) and the whistle are done. all it needs is the drums/claps according to that mp3

..i got alot of the drums done, the only things i didnt do were the claps and whatnot at the whistle part, and i put it in psmplay to lower the octave on the brass and make the whistle higher, and when i put it back in anvil it was ALLL messed up, and it wouldnt split into single channel tracks. i dont know what i did wrong.

--ive tried just about everything i know how to do and it still wont work in anvil. someone PLEASE help..thanks..

edit: alright do this

open in anvil, then go to file, export midi format 0 file, then save it as whatever

then open the file u just saved it to and now you'll be able to split the channels. but u have to change all the instruments back cuz they get changed to piano

hey i just noticed the drums for the first 4 segments (i dunno what you call em) are the same as the whistle part except the top line of 1/16th notes (i really really need to learn the terminology)

looks like i need to learn some terminology too because i have no clue what you just said lol.
