nokia 3120
for any polyphonic enabled phone you can use Coding Workshop Ringtone Converter, it sends the file to an intermediate WAP site and you just go into your browser and download it using the number given
codingworkshop.com
only thing you pay for is the kb rate your service provider charges you
thanks

I use the visionTool. For sprint users only! It seems to be the fastest way to upload files.
1) Download Ringtone, wallpaper (or whatever else is supported by the tool)
2) Visit Hidden Content
3) Browse for the file you've downloaded by clicking "Browse".
4) Place your 10-digit number into the box provided under browse.
5) Hit the arrow and follow the instructions given.
That's it!

T-Mobile To Go – Nokia 6010
Before you can receive ringtones (or pictures) in the form of a Multimedia Message (MMS) you must first set up My T-Mobile and also initiate the My Album feature by sending a picture message to 222.
If picture messaging hasn't been initated any MMS message sent to your phone with a ringtone or picture will be striped of it's attachment.
If you’ve already initiated Multimedia Messaging then skip down to step 5.
- In your phones menu navigate to Messages > Multimedia Messages > Create Message.
- The first screen is for text input, you can leave this blank. Navigate to Options > Insert image. Open the Graphics folder and select any picture. Press Options > Insert.
- You’re now at a blank screen. Press Options > Send to number and enter 222 then press OK and the message will be sent.
- You will receive a text message with a web address and instructions for accessing your My Album page.
- Send your phone an email with the ringtone as an attachment. You phone’s email address is Hidden Content . I’ve only tried MIDI format ringtones but you may be able to use other formats.
- When you receive the message on your phone select Show > Options > Save sound. (Whenever I do this the file name has a closing quote at the end. I have to delete the quotes in order for the phone to recognize the file as a valid midi format.) Save the file in your Tones folder.
- From the phones main screen navigate to Menu > Gallery > View folders > Tones Scroll down to the file you just saved and press Options > Set as ring tone.
- In your phones menu navigate to Messages > Multimedia Messages > Create Message.

I either use infrared, bluetooth or cable depending on which computer I'm working. EasyStudio Samsung software, Nokia PC Suite etc. Most new phones come with a nice interface so that you don't even need software, it just comes up as another drive on your computer. Pretty nifty...
