Help me please :(

Ok, I have Alltel as a mobile carrier and have the model SCH-U420 from Samsung. Ever since like a month ago, I have been un able to download ringtones off of Phonezoo.com. I tried to go to myxer.com but they give me a website to use and idk how to use it and stuff on my phone cuz my phone says i cant get to it or something. Is anybody else having the problem with Alltel not letting you get the ringtones to your phone? I liked phone zoo because It sent the sounds straight to the phone for you to save...anybody know any other sites like this? or...anybody have a solution?

I don't know about Alltel but Verizon does block users from setting their own rintones. Give Alltel at call (or perhaps another member here who's more familiar with Alltel can post) and ask them if their cellphone service disables applying your own ringtones.

Yeah, I had the same problem with my verizon phone. They won't let verizon users have their own ringtone. But Alltell, I'm not too sure.

Myxer's new policy thing is that they send you a link to your phone, and you're supposed to extract that link going to option -> extract files. Then it should take you to the internet on your phone and download the ringtone from there.

Every phone should have something similar to this; it might be because you don't have internet access on your phone.

My suggestion? Make your own ringtones. DL Audacity and upload your favorite songs, trim it down, then save them and email it to your phone number. It's a better way to monitor the files. That's the way I do it, just so I don't accidentally download some freak virus onto my phone.

You can also use that site, if you'd like, but I'm not 100% sure of the safety. Erase the spaces. I had to do that because I'm new and this forum doesn't allow me to post links yet.
