currently i have been with rogers for about a year and a half now on a two year contract. i would liek to change my plan to the megatime with 1000 evening/weekend minutes plus 150 anytime. but it says for megatime plans you need to sign up for a 2-3 year contract. my question is... will i have to sign a new contract with rogers or can i just use my existing one with a different plan?

    thanks

Umm, from my experience, i just had to continue my plan from when i register for the new plan...
From your example, assuming you need to sign a 2 year plan and you are 1.5 years INTO your existing plan, you would just need to start you new plan NOW and the other half would be terminated because you are UPGRADING... In Roger's perspective, this is good since you are paying more therefore they careless about the previous plan you had since it was lower pay...
However, if you are downgrading, you need to make sure the little details since Rogers is an @$$ about these issues....

O yeh, a tip, i think when you upgrade a plan, you have the priority of chosing a cell phone at a lower cost when compared to the public. Since you are being a 'good customer' and going back for more, they treat you to this cellphone upgrade also when you upgrade your plan.

The thing is EVEN IF you are not wanting a cell phone and want to use the one you have now, you should just get the one that is $0 and sell it or give it to someone since most cell phones use SIM cards. You can give it to someone or just sell it to get some money back. Remember to unlock it tho..!

    any more probs, keep posting...
