Hey guys I am new here so hi to everone first of all.

Now here is my story. I signed up with Rogers for a 36months contract of which the first 12months are UNLIMITED local calling between Rogers mobile customers....I got a phone so did my giflfriend. Now that was in February last year. During that 12months Rogers Wireless has made 8 billing mistakes that amounted to more than $400.00 worth of charges that should have never been. I have rectified those every month and every month I was assured it would never happen again....

I even requested a supervisor to call me in december 2005. We are now in February 2006 and still no news from the Supervisor. I left a voicemail with my details, etc.

I called again this week to fix more billing mistakes...that were supposed to never happen.... I tried to speak to a supervisor( senior/lead agent). But the customer service rep. told me WHY, all Mistakes have been rectified?!?!?! Hello I still haven't heard from supervisor since the voicemail in December.

Anyhow rogers wireless for my pain is ready to offer me 1months free service( x2phones) for 1year of mistakes and phone calls. And $400 dollars worth of billing mistakes.

Then I inquired about a Corporate plan that they have for AC empl. Here is the brakedown:

    EMPLOYEE PLAN

    - $20 Monthly service fee
    - Includes 200 Anytime minutes
    - UNLIMITED evenings & weekends
    - WAIVED Activation fee ($35 value)
    - 1000 minutes of local Rogers mobile to mobile calling
    - Early Evenings Calling starting at 6pm-8am for the first 12months

Limited time offer to select and approved corporate accounts. Proof of employment required. *Phone prices based on 36months agreement. **Employee Purchase Plan evenings are regularly from 8pm to 7am Monday to Friday. Weekends are from 8pm Friday to 7am Monday. BONUS early Evening Calling from 6pm to 8am applies to the first 12 months of the 36months service agreement. All bonuses such as waived activation fee, 1000minutes of local Rogers mobile to mobile calling, 6months UNLIMITED local calling, text, pictures, and video messaging (if applicable on the handset) applies on 36month service agreement. System Access Fee of $6.95 and Emergency Fee of $0.50 apply on the monthly bill. Additional minute rate is $0.30 each. Long distance, roaming charges, additional service options selected and applicable taxes are also billed monthly.

The supervisor told me NO u can't have it? What excuse me. Apparently since I have recived 12months of free service I can't get more. I told him that the regulations do not state anywhere the offer applies only to NEW ACTIVATIONS ONLY?

Anyhow I wrote a pretty detailed @mail but I have no idea where to send it.

All of the @mails there don't seem to fit into the Complaint/ Customer Resolution sections. Any ideas guys? Let me know since my current contract(offer) is up on February 16th(well first year of 3).

    Cheers,

    G.

I am a Rogers Sales Rep and it doesn't make sense why you wouldn't be able to get that plan. The only requirement would be that you would have to reset your contract back to the 3 years and start at the 36 month term again.

Yes, Cherise is correct: That plan is available on a 3 year term only. so as long ast you agree to restarting your term, 100% forsure you are elligible for that plan.

    Dude., you're wasting your time.

Call up Rogers., tell them you're at your wits end and want to cancel.

Hopefully the rep will know what to do and put you through to their loyalty/retentions department, You should be happy with the outcome (WARNING, results vary as seemingly there's NO quality assurance from one rep to the other. GROSS VARIATIONS in success) HOWEVER...isn't that what you're getting now? so it's still MUCH better.

you are absolutely eligible for that plan if you're employed by a company/organization that has a special relationship with rogers. however, if you want the bonuses <12 months of unlimited EARLY evenings and weekends at no additional charge and 3 months of unlimited video/picture/text messaging>, you need to renew your term for three years from the start of your new price plan. you can, however, take this plan on a minimum 2-year contract renewal. the employee-price-plan <EPP> now requires a minimum 2-year contract <which makes no difference to customers who switch to this plan who still have at least 2 years remaining in their current commitment>.

you are also very knowledgeable about the details of the plans, i am impressed.

if you don't mind, can you share details of the mistaken charges that you say you annoyingly had to have corrected over the course of 12 months? i'm curious as to what kind of billing errors were occuring.

    Re: Complaint going nowhere

Two years ago I took a three plan with Rogers. Started having problems with my phone not working properly. Kept sending it in for repair. After third time in two months I demanded they give me a new phone. Got the new phone. Then started getting busy signals when people tried phoning. Contacted Rogers eight times with in a month. They told there was nothing they could do for me and the area was overloaded. They don't tell you that when you sign a three contract that they can't provide you with service half the time. They offered to give me a new phone for free if I sighned a new three year contract. When they can't provide me with proper service now. Every month they call with some wonderfull deal and I refuse and tell them that I'm not happy with there service. All they say is sorry to here that. I have one more year left on my contract. Can't wait for the end!!!
