i was previously using a motorola c332 for a long time using rogers...then someone purchased for me a motorola v300 from the states thru t-mobile. all i did was switch my SIM from the c332 to the v300 and everything is working fine but i'm having a problem...i'm planning to download ringtones and/or games..how do i fix my browser so i can link to the rogers websites and disable the t-mobile? does this mean i have to unlock my GSM?
i'm kinda new with phones so any help would be appreciated.

What you will have to do is reset the browser settings. I have had this issue before with other customers. You need to call DATA suppport in your area and ask for the browser settings. They usually give them to you but if you ask them to wait, then you can program them in quickly and try the internet before you hang up. Make sure you call from a LAN line because they will ask for some info off the phone and you will just have to call them back from a LAN line anyways. Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.

What you can do is write the settings down and enter them yourself. If you go into the menu it will usually be under the web settings and there should be profiles under there with your current settings. You will just need to create a new profile and enter the information. You can then save it as your default settings and there you go. If the default thing doesn't work, you may have to go to the profile everytime and hit connect with this profile or something but at least you would have the internet on the phone.
