KRZR K1s (silver) HELP!!!!!

I have a ROgers Motorola KRZR K1s and I cant get mp3's to work as ringtones, I have tried converting them into other types of files and NOTHING IT WORKING! I need simple step by step instructions when doing things if you have any tips!

OMG I am sooo frustrated at this point, I am not very good with this kind of stuff and no matter what I do it doesnt work!!!!! I only have a few days to return this damn thing, so ANY help is appriciated!

My phone didn't work with MP3s the first time I tried, but I learned my phone has a filesize limit of 300KB for a rintone (limiting it to about 20-40 seconds depending on the compression rate). You wont be able to use a full song, but with programs like Audacity, you can chop the file down to the intro, or the chorus, or a solo and import that to your phone.

If I'm not mistaken the K1s has a filesize limit of 500KB.
