Im new to the forums and im a new rogers customer (2 week customer). I drunkenly lost my phone 2 nights ago...stupid i know. Anyways paying 400 bucks to get the early contract termination would be stupid because well i just paid a load to get the phone on a 3 year contract. I was wondering what kind of options do i have? Would it be possible for me to buy an unlocked phone from the internet and use that phone in replacement to the one that i lost?

Re: Lost Rogers Phone.
Yes, you shuold be able to. Buy a replacement phone, unlocked or not, just has to be rogers compatible, then pay for a new SIM card. I think this would be $35~$40 at a Rogers store, they should be able to program your old number onto the SIM.

Re: Lost Rogers Phone.
I hope to hell you called rogers to tell them you lost the one so that no idiot find it and uses it to make calls with or runs up a huge Long distance bill cause with certain carriers your responsible for all charges on the phone unless you tell them you lost the phone.
