    Howdy.
    I just purchased a cellphone today and got a 3 year contract. However, the salesman lied to me regarding what my contract contains. I was purchasing a blackberry curve, and I specified I wanted caller id, voicemail, 1000 texts, and the data plan.

    The first salesman came up to me, after adding up all the costs, and said it was around $75/monthly with tax. I said that was a bit much. So he went to go talk to his manager, to see if he could drop the price a bit.

    The manager then walked over, and said he could offer me the contract, but at $60. I agreed, thinking I was getting a great deal.

    After I pay, and he enters all the details, he hands me a pamphlet that says what my plan contains. After I leave the store (It was closing), and got into my car, I decided to read the pamphlet. I noticed it said "DATA $ NONE".

    I go "WTF!?". What the hell is the point of a blackberry without the data?!
    Anyways, I'm hesitant of going back there, as they used aggressive sales tactics, and well lied.

    What can I do? If I call rogers, will they let me get the **** out of my contract, as it has only been like 24 hours? Or atleast change it and add on 500MB like I asked for? Have any of you experienced something like this?

    Also, I was promised a free car charger, that I never received. He put everything in the bag, I assumed he put the car charger in too. Id really hate to go back and argue with them, because I will feel like a idiot.

    I'd go straight back there. If they didn't produce what they promised, I'd make them or tell them to take the phone back.

    You are out of your contract right? I mean, you are past your current contract and renewed for another one?

    You can always add new features to your contract at any time.

    I thought all Blackberry's required a data plan....thought it was manditory.

    I called rogers this morning, they said they could add the 500mb for 10 bucks a month. I said sure. I really don't feel like arguing with them on the phone for like 10 hours.

    My plan included unlimited emails, witch was part of my student EPP package or something. Also, when I think back to it, I remember the manager saying that I would still have internet and stuff because of the built in wifi. I didn't realize he ment he was getting rid of the 500mb package to make it less expensive.
