I recently got a call (week ago) from rogers asking to renew my contract. My old plan was just not meeting my needs, and I had decided to get an iPhone so I decided to make a new plan.

I ended up getting (on a three year contract)
200 daytime
Unlimited Evenings + weekends (6PM)
Unlimited Network calling (rogers/fido/rogers homephone)
Unlimited MMS/Text
Voice mail/caller ID
500mb data plan.

It's going to end up costing me $80 after all taxes and charges.

Now at the time, this sounded like a decent plan. However I told a buddy of mine about it and he laughed and told me to check out this site...and after reading some threads I don't feel quite as good about the plan I go. I think I should have been able to get the same plan for about $60 based on what people are saying.

Wondering if anyone can give me some advice on how to possibly fix this issue. It's probably very unlikely that they will take a threat to cancel seriously, as I just signed up for contract. Is there any way I can negotiate a new deal?
