Help -- Phone Dead -- Can I switch

I'm hoping that someone can answer me this question. I have a LG Xenon phone that just died. I am on a voice only plan. Can I buy a Nokia E71 unlocked and use it in replacement of my LG.

Can you use the Nokia E71 without a data plan? Is it just a matter for putting in my SIM?

Yes you can just put the sim card in the new phone and use it.
