Seeking advice. Currently in month 6 of 3yr Voice and Data Family Plan with Rogers - 2 BB 9700s and one BB Bold. The two 9700s are heading south to US for three months and we are trying to find the most economical solution to the phone situation.
Option 1 - the $10 one rate add on our existing plans for the 2 phones - what will that get us. Found that we aren`t eligible for that because we are on a family plan - who knewÉ

Option 2 - Put the 2 9700s `to sleep`on a minimum plan and buy local pay as you go voice and data on a local SIM card (would require unlocking the two BBs) Asked if I could just add three months to the existing contract - customer rep said they don`t do that.

Option 3 - Cancel the 2 9700s contracts - way too expensive because of cancellation fees

Option 4 - Cancel the data plans on the 2 - 9700s " $100 per phone. and pay the rest.

Does anyone have an suggestions or better yet solutions
