News: Samsung Galaxy S Froyo 2.2 update is now available

Froyo 2.2 update has finally been launched for the Samsung S smartphone. The Froyo 2.2 update is for those in Sweden, Norway and Denmark and was announced by BriefMobile, Swedroid and the thread above at XDA developers forums and was made available by Kies.

The 2.2 Froyo for the Samsung Galaxy S smartphone will bring these following updates as well:
* GPS fix
* Media Hub
* Adobe Flash Player 10.1 support
* Speed improvements
* Enhanced default keyboard
* Slightly enhanced graphics and transitions
* New Search widget
* Better Exchange support
* New Gmail app
* Support for MP4 video recording
