My phone, (Samsung GT5570) Just died a few days ago while I was installing some software. The software was Clockwork Mod. To install this, I used an application from Google Play called -Rom Manager. After installing the app, I clicked something like flash clockwork mod, and a list was brought to me, from which I was to select my phone model, but unfortunately my wasn't among the list. So, I picked the first Model type and proceeded. The clockwork Mod was installed correctly and so I went to the next attempt and that was to Partition my SD Card. Consequently, my phone went off and I thought that it would restart on itself but....! I tried to restart it on my own but the LCD didn't even turn on. What do I do? Someone please help.
    My email address, [email protected]
    Thanks in advance.

You'll have to do a hard reset. Unfortunately this will erase everything on the phone.

    - when the phone is off press home & power button at the same time
    - you'll get a boot screen
    - select 'Factory reset' using the volume down

I discovered that the word I should have used is use is 'BRICKED' for this case, my phone can neither reboot nor go into recovery mode. The problem could have resulted from me installing a Clockwork Mod of a phone not even remotely close to mine. Now the screen wont display nothing, it wont even indicate that it is charging once I connect it to a charger. It has become a lame piece of crap! Hope I'll get a solution. Consequently, I've read through various forums and from the look of things, the application which I installed, 'ROM Manager" has bricked very many phone, and am glad that am not the only one.
