To set up IMAP Email

1. From the Home screen, tap Email.
2. Enter the Email address and Password in the appropriate fields and tap Next.

Note: If you have already set up an email account and want to set up another one, tap the Menu Key - > Settings -> tap the + sign.

3. Your device will automatically start searching for the settings. If the settings are found – change the Account options as desired and then tap Next. Now enter the domain of your email address as the account name (for example, Gmail or Yahoo) and enter Your name, the way you want it to appear on the outgoing emails -> next you have to tap Done and the email account should be set up.
4. If your device is unable to find the settings by itself, tap IMAP Account.
5. In the User name field enter your email address.
6. You won’t need to also include the Password as it will be entered automatically from the previous steps.
7. In the IMAP server field enter imap.your-email-type.com. For example: imap.gmail.com.
8. Tap Security type and select SSL.
9. In the Port field enter 993 and tap Next.
10. In the SMTP server field enter smtp.your-email-type.com. For example: smtp.yahoo.com.
11. Tap the Security type and select SSL.
12. In the Port field enter 465 and tap Next.
13. Tap the Peak schedule and Off-peak schedule to select the desired options.
14. Tap to check or uncheck Email sync and the other options available and tap Next when finished.
15. You have to enter your email type as the account name. For example: Gmail or Yahoo.
16. In the Your Name field enter the name as it should appear on the outgoing emails.
17. Tap Done when finished.
18. Your email account is now set up.

To Set Up POP Email

1. From the Home screen tap Email.
2. Enter your Email address as well as Password and tap Next.
3. The device will start searching for settings. If the settings are found, follow the steps from number 3 in "To set up IMAP Email". If not, tap the POP3 account.
4. In the User name field enter your email address.
5. The password is entered automatically from the previous steps.
6. In the POP3 server enter pop3.live.com.
7. Select the SSL Security type and enter 995 in the Port field.
8. Tap Next.
9. In the SMTP field enter smtp.live.com.
10. Select the TLP Security type.
11. In the Port field enter 587 and tap Next.
12. Tap the Peak schedule and Off-peak schedule to select the desired options.
13. Tap to check or uncheck Email sync and the other options available and tap Next when finished.
14. For the account name enter Hotmail.
15. Enter the desired name in the Your Name field.
16. Tap Done when finished.

To Set Up Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync Email

1. Go to Email and enter the Email address and Password.
2. Tap Next.
3. Tap Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.
4. Make sure the Username/Domain and the Exchange Server are correct.
5. The password will be automatically filled from the previous steps.
6. Check or uncheck Use secure connection (SSL) and Use client certificate as desired.
7. You may receive an activation message – read it and tap OK.
8. If you receive a prompt saying the Setup could not finish, tap Edit details and check and see if the information is correct.
9. Under Account options, make the desired modifications.
10. Tap Next when finished.
11. If you want, you can also enter a name for the exchange account and the name as you wish to appear for your outgoing messages.
12. Tap Done when finished.
