I've had my Note II for a month now, and I have used 4 different battery saver apps. I have tried Juice Defender, Batter Saver, Easy Battery Saver, and 2x Battery. All of them are intrusive and a bit tricky to set up. Easy Battery Saver was the worse because it stopped my WIFI and Mobile Data Connection, which was really frustrating. I kept customizing it until I got so impatient that I just had to uninstall it. The easiest app to deal with is the 2X Battery. I still have it now, and I love how it can extend my battery for more than 24hrs. I couldn't last that long with my iPhone. It's not intrusive at all, and I like it. I only use the free version though so there's no night mode. Some of the Pro users complained of issues, so I didn't bother to get it at all. I wanted to like the Juice Defender but the complex setup isn't for me. I prefer the "install and play" app .
